Transcript Settings
The Transcript Settings feature allows you to create and customize detailed score reports for quiz questionnaires. This feature enables you to display comprehensive performance analytics including rankings, scores, and detailed question analysis to provide meaningful feedback to participants.
Accessing Transcript Settings
1. For quiz questionnaire types, locate the "Transcript Settings" entry in the design wizard page
2. In the questionnaire settings page, find the "Display Transcript" option under "After Data submission" section
- This option is selected by default
- When selected, it provides access to the "Transcript Settings" entry
3. Click on "Transcript Settings" to navigate to the Transcript configuration page
Transcript Settings Interface
The Transcript Settings page features a dual-panel layout:
- Left Panel: Configuration settings for customizing the Transcript
- Right Panel: Live preview of the Transcript using sample data
Note: The preview uses fixed sample data regardless of actual response data availability
Basic Transcript Configuration
1. Participant Information:
- Default participant name: "Virtual"
- Total score calculation: User's set score minus the value of the last scored multiple-choice/true-false question (simulating one wrong answer)
- If no multiple-choice questions exist, the default score will be the maximum possible score
Basic Settings
1. Display Real-Time Rankings: Enable or disable ranking display,defalut enable
a. Custom Ranking Information: Configure what information to display in rankings,If the questionnaire includes a name question, the participant's name will be displayed by default.
- Participant Name: Used for displaying names in Transcripts and leaderboards
- Participant ID: Usually phone number, employee ID, or student ID for participant uniqueness and leaderboard deduplication
- Participant Department: Identifies the participant's department in Transcripts or leaderboards
b. Show Daily Rankings: Option to display daily ranking statistics
Note: Rangking default to displaying by name. Multiple participations by the same person will not be deduplicated
2. Display Participants and Total Score: Display participant information and overall performance,default enable
3. Display All Questions: Display complete question analysis,default enable
- Display Correct Answers: Reveal the correct answers for all questions,default enable
- Display Answer Analysis: Display detailed explanations for answers,default enable
- Display Only Incorrect Questions: Display only questions that were answered incorrectly,default disable
3. Hide Save Report Button: Option to conceal the report saving functionality,default disable
4. Display Completion Time: Display the time taken to complete the quiz,default disable
Important Notes
- The Transcript feature is specifically designed for quiz questionnaire types
- Preview data uses sample information and does not reflect actual participant responses
- Leaderboard rankings are based on participant names by default
- Multiple participations by the same person will be displayed separately in rankings
- All configuration changes are applied in real-time to the preview
- The "Show Transcript" option is enabled by default for quiz questionnaires
- Score calculations automatically adjust based on question types and scoring rules

A: Transcript Settings is specifically designed for quiz questionnaire types. Regular survey questionnaires do not have access to this feature.

A: Yes, you can modify transcript settings at any time. Changes will apply to all future quiz submissions. Existing participant data will not be affected by configuration changes.
