Purchase Email Credits
This article explains email credits for international-edition email sending: free allowance, which features consume credits, how to purchase bundles, payment and billing, and common prompts when sending.
Overview
To reduce misuse of email, messages sent through the system in the international edition consume email credits.
- Each user receives 20 credits free by default.
- When free credits are used up or the number of recipients exceeds available credits, you must purchase an email credit bundle to continue.
- Both desktop and mobile support checking balance, purchasing credits, and completing payment.
Features That Use Email Credits
The following email scenarios count toward email credits:
- Email invitations to respond: inviting recipients from the send-survey email flow.
- New response notifications: emails sent when a new response is submitted.
- Conditional actions (send email): emails sent when conditions are met.
- Workflow approval: approval-related notification emails.
Where to Buy Email Credits
You can open the purchase email credits entry in the places below; tapping it usually opens the bundle selection dialog directly.
1. Send survey — email invitation
- A purchase entry appears in the invitation area; tap to open the bundle dialog.

2. Email sending page
- A banner explains the default 20 free credits and shows credits you have used; you can tap to purchase and open the bundle dialog.

3. New response notifications, conditional email sending, workflow approval
- Each module includes a matching purchase entry.
- When you tap Save, if credits are insufficient or similar, a dialog appears; you can purchase email credits from there.

Prompts When Sending
No extra purchase yet, recipients exceed free allowance
- On Send, you are informed of the free limit (20), credits used, and remaining sendable credits, with an option to open the bundle dialog.

Purchased credits, but recipients exceed current balance
- On Send, you are told your remaining credits and that recipient count exceeds balance, so sending is blocked until you reduce recipients or buy more credits; purchase is available from the dialog.

Choosing a Bundle and Checkout
Bundle dialog
- Shows free credits (20) and paid tiers (exact tiers and prices follow the live product).
- For purchases over 10,000 credits, use Contact us in the dialog for manual setup and payment.
- Hint text in the dialog updates dynamically based on your actual available credits.
- Contact us opens the contact dialog.

Billing and payment
- After confirming purchase, the billing page opens: left side matches sample service purchase fields; right side shows purchase summary, email credits, and price.
- A dropdown next to Email credits lets you change the bundle before placing the order.
- Above the purchase button, privacy terms appear: accepted by default; if you clear the checkbox, the purchase button is disabled until you accept again.
- After success or failure, if you stay on the page, you see the same style of result dialog as for sample service purchase.

System Messages and Paying Later
After an order is created (paid or not), you receive a system message:
- Unpaid: reminds you to pay; details include a pay now link back to the billing page.

- Paid: confirms success and viewing the order; details include view bill to open the billing view.

Billing
Under My account — Billing, you can see orders including email credit purchases;

- For unpaid email credit orders, if supported, a dropdown on the detail page may let you change the bundle; if not supported in your build, it may be omitted.

Notes
- Rules and prices follow the live international product.
- Check the top banner and dialogs before send to avoid blocking when recipients exceed credits.
- Large bundles (e.g. over 10,000 credits) use Contact us for manual orders and payment links.
(For operators) Admin supports email purchase orders, filtering by order type, granting credits per user, per-user order views, and manual payment links for large orders; after successful payment, credits are added automatically.
FAQs
Q: Why does Send show that I cannot send?
A: Often remaining credits are less than recipient count. Reduce recipients or purchase enough credits first.
Q: After the free 20 credits, can I still send?
A: You need to purchase email credits so available credits cover your recipients.
Q: Payment incomplete — where do I continue?
A: Use the link in the system message details, or open the unpaid order under My account — Billing.
