Password Verification Settings

The Password Verification Settings module in the SurveyMars Exam Platform allows administrators to set, manage, and export exam access passwords, supporting multilingual environments for global users. This feature ensures exam security and flexible access control.

Feature Access

1. Navigate to the survey list and select your target exam survey. Click the "Edit " button to enter the survey edit page.

2.Click the  "Common Quiz Settings" button ,Pop up the settings dialog box, and under Response Control, check the option "Candidates need to enter a password for verification when entering the exam."

3.Click the "Add/Edit Password".enter the password setting

Adding Passwords

1. Click the "Add/Edit Password" button to open the password settings dialog.

2. Entering Basic Passwordor Password+Extra details

3. Click "Save" to add your password. Display a pop-up notification indicating "Password added successfully," then proceed to the password login settings dialog.

Setting Passwords

1.Set the prompt message for password input.

2.Configure the maximum number of password attempts.

3.Set the notification message displayed after exceeding the allowed password attempts.

Log in to the exam using a password

1. Open the online exam link, enter the password to log in, and complete/submit the exam answer sheet.

Important Notes

- Always save your changes after editing passwords.

- Refresh the page after switching languages before exporting.

- Confirm deletion actions to avoid accidental data loss.

- Keep password and additional attribute content within 20 characters for best display.

- Only one password list is supported per questionnaire.

- Some UI styles may display differently in French, Korean, or Traditional Chinese.

- Exported data may contain sensitive information; handle with care.

- For large-scale password operations, process in batches to ensure performance.

- If you encounter interface errors, try refreshing or contact support.

- Regularly clean up unused passwords to keep the list organized.
