AI Questionnaire Review
AI Questionnaire Review checks your survey structure and content from multiple angles—wording, logic, question types, and relevance. Each issue is marked with its location, an explanation, and a ready-to-use suggestion so you can improve quality before you publish.
Example use cases
- You are about to publish and want to catch grammar, spelling, and unclear wording first.
- Your survey is long, and you worry about duplicate questions, a poor question order, or mismatched question types.
- You need a logic, sensitivity, and topic-relevance check to reduce data-quality risk after collection.
Feature access
1. Open the editor for a survey or form.
2. On the right side of the editor, find AI Questionnaire Review.
3. Click it to open an intro dialog. The dialog explains that this feature checks survey structure and helps you optimize content.
4. If you want to proceed, click the button in the dialog to start the review.
What AI reviews
AI reviews the following dimensions. Issues are grouped by priority from P0 to P3 (P0 is the highest priority):
- Grammar: awkward or incorrect sentence structure.
- Spelling: typos and misspellings.
- Sensitive information: questions that may collect sensitive data inappropriately.
- Clarity: ambiguous wording that respondents may misread.
- Duplicate questions: repeated or highly similar items.
- Completeness: missing stems, options, or necessary instructions.
- Question order: a sequence that may hurt the respondent experience.
- Question-type fit: types that do not match the research goal.
- Logic consistency: conflicts in skip logic, mutually exclusive options, and similar issues.
- Content relevance: items weakly related to the survey topic.
How to start a review
After you start, the left panel shows the AI thinking process, and the right panel shows results.
1. Click the button in the intro dialog to start the review.
2. Wait while AI thinks. You can expand or collapse the thinking process. The first time you enter and AI is still thinking, it is expanded by default.
3. When the first review finishes, the right panel automatically opens the AI review results tab (the optimization report tab).
4. Review the findings first. The first review does not apply optimizations automatically and does not generate a revised survey. You decide what to apply next.
If the survey is already strong and AI finds little to improve, a dialog tells you that you can go collect responses or open settings—no further optimization is required.
Select items and apply optimization
1. On the optimization report tab, findings appear as selectable items. Each item shows the location, the reason, and a suggested fix.
2. Select the items you want to fix. The bottom of the panel shows Selected N items and an Apply optimization button.
3. Click "Apply optimization". The left conversation appends a matching user message, such as “Please optimize items xxx”, then AI starts a streaming response.
4. After AI finishes thinking and generates the revised survey, the right panel switches to the comparison view.
Compare, tweak, and apply changes
The optimized survey supports a side-by-side comparison so you can review what changed.
1. Compare the original and optimized versions.
2. Adjust individual questions as needed:
- Undo the optimization for a question to restore the previous text.
- Edit a question’s text directly.
- Changing question or option order is not supported yet (high-risk actions).
3. When you are ready, click "Use this Questionnaire". The optimization tab then shows the items that were applied.
Continue optimizing in chat
After the optimized survey is generated, you can keep refining it in the left-side AI chat.
- Describe further edits in the dialog, such as rewriting a question or tightening the wording.
- You can continue for up to 5 rounds. After that, a prompt appears and this conversation cannot continue.
- The right panel previews the optimized survey.
Download the report and use the survey
1. Below the preview, download the AI optimization report for records or team review.
2. When you are satisfied, click "Use this Questionnaire".
3. The optimized content is pasted into the editor and overwrites the existing survey. Confirm you no longer need the current editor content before you click.
Free trial and upgrade
AI Questionnaire Review follows the same trial rule as AI Create Survey: each account gets 30 free uses.
If you exceed 30 uses, an upgrade dialog appears. Upgrade to a paid plan to continue.
Important notes
1. The first review only shows findings. It does not rewrite your survey until you select items and click Apply optimization.
2. Use this survey overwrites the current editor content. Confirm before you apply it.
3. Comparison supports undoing a question or editing text. Changing question or option order is not supported yet.
4. After generation, you can continue in chat for up to 5 rounds.

Q: Where do I open AI Questionnaire Review?
A: Open a survey or form editor and click AI Questionnaire Review on the right.
Q: Will the first review change my survey automatically?

Q: Can I apply only some suggestions?
A: Yes. Select the items you want, confirm Selected n items, then click Apply optimization.
Q: Can I keep editing after optimization?

Q: What does “no room to optimize” mean?
A: Your survey is already in good shape. You can go collect responses or open settings without further changes.
