Import multiple contacts from Hubspot
This guide explains how to import contacts from HubSpot in SurveyMars international Contacts. Connect your HubSpot account, select contacts, map fields, and add them to your contact list quickly.
Overview
SurveyMars Contacts supports several batch-import options. With HubSpot, SurveyMars connects to your HubSpot account, pulls CRM contact data, and lets you choose records and map fields before import. Contacts added from HubSpot are placed in a department named HubSpot automatically.
Use cases
- Your customer and lead data lives in HubSpot CRM and you want a one-time import instead of manual entry.
- You plan to invite HubSpot contacts to surveys and need them in SurveyMars first.
- You want to filter by source; HubSpot imports are grouped under the HubSpot department.
Feature access
1. Open Contacts
2. Open the Add contact dropdown.
3. Choose Batch add contacts. A panel opens on the right.
4. The panel lists import options including Upload Excel, Gmail, Mailchimp, Outlook, Office 365, HubSpot, and Text.

Import contacts from HubSpot
1. In the batch-add panel, click HubSpot.
2. Sign in to your HubSpot account if prompted. If you are already signed in, choose which HubSpot account to use.

3. After a successful sign-in, SurveyMars fetches contacts from that account and shows them in a list. Email and name are required fields and always display; other HubSpot contact fields appear if available.
4. Select the contacts you want, then click Next. You can select all, deselect all, or search to filter contacts.

5. On the field mapping step, match each HubSpot field to a column in the Contacts table. Common fields such as name, email, and address are matched by default; adjust as needed.


6. To skip a HubSpot field, click Delete. A confirmation dialog appears before the mapping is removed.

7. Confirm mapping and finish import. Selected contacts are added and assigned to the HubSpot department.

Important notes
1. HubSpot imports are placed in the HubSpot department automatically.
2. Only contacts with valid email addresses are imported; email and name are required display fields.
3. Verify email and other key fields during mapping so invitations work after import.
4. Deleting a field mapping requires confirmation to reduce mistakes.
