Mailchimp Integrations
SurveyMars integrates with Mailchimp, allowing you to automatically sync survey email contacts to your Mailchimp audience.With just one-click setup, SurveyMars automatically collects valid email addresses from surveys and syncs them to Mailchimp, helping you quickly build your marketing list.
Feature Access
1. Navigate to the survey distribution page and locate "Integrations" section. Click the "Go>>" button to access data integration settings

Connecting to Mailchimp
1. Click the "Connect " button

2. If you're already logged into Mailchimp:
- You can choose to use your currently logged-in Mailchimp account
- Or select "Add account" to log in with a different account

3. If you're not logged into Mailchimp:
- Click the "Login to Mailchimp" button
- Complete the Mailchimp authentication process

Setting Up Contact Synchronization
1. Select target audience list:
- Choose an existing Mailchimp audience list
- Or create a new list for your survey contacts
Field Mapping Configuration
1. Map Email Field (Required):
- Select which survey question contains the respondent's email address
- This field is mandatory for the integration to work
- Additional field mapping options will appear after configuring the email field

2. Map Additional Fields:
- Connect other survey questions to Mailchimp contact fields
- Map demographic information, preferences, and other data points


Optional Settings
1. Add Tags to Responses:
You can set up tagging in two ways:
- Add a single tag to all responses:
• Enter a tag name that will be applied to all survey respondents

- Tag responses based on choice questions:
• Match specific question choices to different Mailchimp tags
• This allows for segmentation based on survey responses

2. Select a Consent Question (Optional):
- Choose a question that indicates marketing consent
- Map answer choices to consent status (agree/disagree)
- Configure what happens when respondents do not consent:
• Do not create a contact
• Create a contact without consent flag


Managing Your Integration
1. Pause/Resume Synchronization:
- Toggle the connection switch off to pause data synchronization
- Toggle the connection switch on to resume data synchronization

2. Edit Configuration:
- Return to previous setup steps to modify your configuration
- Update field mappings or change audience selection


3. Delete Integration:
- Click the "Delete" button to remove the integration


- Confirm your decision in the confirmation dialog
4. View your contacts:
- Click the "View your contacts" button to view your contacts.

- The integration requires an active Mailchimp account
- Email field mapping is mandatory for the integration to work

- Changes to dropdown selections can be saved during configuration
