What are the restrictions on questionnaire titles?
Questionnaire titles have the following restrictions:
- It cannot be empty; otherwise the system will prompt "Survey name is empty, failed to create survey"
- The length cannot exceed 200 characters; otherwise it cannot be saved
- It cannot contain the specific sensitive word surveymars
What should be noted when setting options while creating a question via the API?
When creating question options, please note:
- Options cannot be duplicated; otherwise, the system will display "Duplicate option found"
- For multiple-choice questions and ranking questions, you can set the min_options and max_options parameters to control the selectable range
- For ranking questions, the min_options and max_options parameters should not be set to -1
- The max_options value must be greater than or equal to min_options; otherwise, the system will report an error
- When configuring random option ordering, choice_random and choice_random_type must be kept consistent
What logic cannot be set in the questionnaire creation interface
- Setting question associations is not supported
- Setting skip logic is not supported
- Setting option associations is not supported
- The item_skip (option skipping) parameter setting may not take effect
These complex logic settings currently need to be completed in the questionnaire editing interface.
What is the API endpoint and request method for creating a survey through a template?
The API endpoint for creating a survey through a template is /v1/surveys/template, and the request method is POST.
As an enterprise administrator, what required parameters must be provided when creating a questionnaire using a template?
A2: When creating a questionnaire using a template, the following two required parameters must be provided:
- survey_id: the questionnaire ID used as the template
- title: the title of the newly created questionnaire
If I want to quickly create a batch of similar questionnaires for a team, what parameter limitations does the create-from-template API have?
The parameter limitations of the create-from-template API include:
- The survey_id and title parameters cannot be empty
- The title cannot contain sensitive words such as surveymars
- The title text is limited to 200 characters
- Only questionnaires under the main account and sub-accounts can be used as templates
Which user roles can use the template creation interface when the enterprise management department needs to create multiple standard questionnaires?
Only the following two user roles can use the template creation interface:
- System administrator
- Questionnaire administrator
Questionnaire editing collaborators, statistical analysis viewers, and all results viewers do not have permission to use this interface.
What will the system respond with if a non-existent questionnaire ID is used as a template?
When a non-existent questionnaire ID is used as a template, the system will return a clear error message informing the user that the provided survey_id does not exist or is invalid.
When we create a new questionnaire through a template, which settings from the template are copied to the new questionnaire?
A new questionnaire created from a template will copy multiple settings from the original template questionnaire, including but not limited to:
- Response limit
- Total submissions limit
- Questionnaire questions and options
- Question logic and skip/jump settings
- Questionnaire style and theme settings
What will the system do if I include sensitive words in the title?
If the title contains sensitive words such as surveymars, the system will reject the creation request and return an error message indicating that the title contains prohibited sensitive words. The system will not automatically filter out sensitive words or continue creating the questionnaire.
