Survey Description


Help shape transportation priorities in the Jacksonville Urban Area. Tell us which transportation improvements matter most to you. Your feedback will help the JUMPO assign local input points to projects competing for state funding.


This survey includes projects across three transportation modes: Highway, Bicycle & Pedestrian, and Aviation. A complete list of submitted projects can be viewed on the P8 Projects List.


We appreciate your interest and participation in helping shape future transportation improvements for the Onslow County area.

Transportation Project Importance Survey

This section lists all Highway projects eligible for state funding. Projects receiving the greatest level of public support will be prioritized for points.

Project types are:

Widening - Adding travel lanes to the roadway.
Improve Intersection - Adding turn lanes or signalization to intersection.
Reduced Conflict Intersection (RCI) - Converting roadway to median divided with, left-overs & U-turns.
Upgrade to Interchange - Upgrading intersection to an interchange.
New Roadway - Constructing new roadway on a new alignment.
Access Management - Installing a median & consolidating driveways to enhancing capacity & safety.
Closed Loop Signal System - Upgrading traffic signals system to improve timing & traffic flow.
