THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING LUKE THURSTON PHOTOGRAPHY. I AM GRATEFUL AND EXCITED FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH YOU AND I AM COMMITTED TO PROVIDING A COMFORTABLE, ENJOYABLE AND HIGH QUALITY PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE.


PLEASE SEE BELOW THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.


KINDLY BE ADVISED THAT A SIGNED CONTRACT IS MANDATORY PRIOR TO THE SESSION. UNFORTUNATELY SESSIONS CANNOT BE BOOKED WITHOUT THE COMPLETION OF THIS REQUIREMENT.

A non-refundable retainer fee of 50% is required to secure the booking date and time. (Please see 4)[Checkboxes]

The remaining/outstanding balance is due on or before the day of the session.[Checkboxes]

No images will be released until full payment has been recieved.[Checkboxes]

4.
In the event of cancellation from the client's side, the retainer is non-refundable. In the event of cancellation from the photographer's side, the full amount of the session or deposit thereof is payable to the client. In the event of weather conditions forbidding us to continue the session, alternative arrangements are to be made. In this case, the retainer is non-refundable.[Checkboxes]

5.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on or before the shoot day. The deposit is non-refundable. (See no 4)[Checkboxes]

Rescheduling is permitted once, provided that at least 48 hours notice is given prior to the scheduled session which is subject to availability. In the event of a change in location, the client must notify the photographer no less than 12 hours in advance. Failure to provide timely notice may result in cancellation or rescheduling as prior arrangements are required for the session.[Checkboxes]

7.
Failure to arrive for the session without notice will result in forfeiture of the retainer.[Checkboxes]

All images remain the intellectual property of the Photographer.[Checkboxes]

9.
The Client is granted personal usage rights for printing and social media.[Checkboxes]

10.
The Client may not sell, edit, or use the images for commercial purposes without written permission. Failure to adhere will result in legal matters.[Checkboxes]

The Photographer may use images for portfolio and marketing unless requested otherwise in writing.[Checkboxes]

The Photographer will select and edit the best images at their discretion.[Checkboxes]

13.
Final images will be delivered within the acknowledged number of days.[Checkboxes]

No RAW (unedited) images will be provided.[Checkboxes]

15.
The Photographer will keep all images for a minimum of 3 (three) months. After that period all images will be discarded to ensure enough space for other images.[Checkboxes]

The Client must arrive on time and prepared. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture or additional session fee.[Checkboxes]

The Photographer is not responsible for disruptions or poor conditions beyond control.[Checkboxes]

Final edited images will be delivered within 1–3 weeks after the shoot date. (This mary vary due to session type)[Checkboxes]

Liability is limited to a full refund in case of unforeseen circumstances.[Checkboxes]

Clients who require images within 48 hours may request rush editing at an additional fee of R250 (must be arranged in advance).[Checkboxes]

If the shoot exceeds the originally booked time, an additional coverage fee of R200 per 30 minutes (or part thereof) will apply.[Checkboxes]

Shoots outside a 10km radius will incur an additional travel fee based on distance.[Checkboxes]
