Campaign!
- Limiting vehicle speeds to 20 mph is widespread in the UK and Europe.
- This aims to improve road safety through reducing road traffic collisions.
- Introducing 20 mph zones can also benefit physical and mental health, encourage walking and cycling (↑ socialisation of walking to school), improving air quality and reducing noise pollution.
- For any future application to succeed we need to show that this is supported by the majority and reflects the views of our residents.
We will be trying to visit every residence soon as well as this online petition to ask you to sign a petition for Gloucestershire County Council as part of the application as well as using this online petition.
